Innostroke takes part in the Health Revolution Congress, one of Europe’s leading digital health events

This year, Innostroke participated in one of the most prominent events in the European digital health landscape: the Health Revolution Congress, organized by Barcelona Health Hub on May 14–15 at the historic Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau.

The congress brings together key players in the digital health ecosystem—startups, investors, sector professionals, and healthcare and technology institutions—making it an ideal space to foster synergies, share advancements, and accelerate innovation in healthcare.

Within this context, Innostroke took the opportunity to present its cutting-edge technology, which leverages artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC), and to officially announce the launch of OneCareAI, a new spinoff from the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC). This milestone marks a turning point for the project, enabling its technological transfer and opening new avenues for commercialization.

Daniele Lezzi, principal investigator of the Innostroke project and co-founder of OneCareAI, presented the solution on the main stage of the congress, where he explained how AI and HPC can significantly contribute to the prevention and continuous monitoring of stroke, one of the leading causes of disability and death worldwide.

Attendees also had the chance to experience the technology firsthand through an interactive demonstration. Using a smartwatch, they could record a real-time electrocardiogram (ECG) and observe how the platform performed an advanced analysis of various biomarkers. These same data can be interpreted by healthcare professionals to detect irregularities and anticipate the risk of cerebrovascular diseases.

Participation in the Health Revolution Congress has been a strategic opportunity to position Innostroke and OneCareAI on the radar of leading digital health initiatives, while also enabling new connections with institutions and organizations committed to creating solutions that make a real impact on people’s lives.
